Temple Lofts
The project consists of the renovation of an existing 6 story Masonic Temple constructed in 1927 along with two new 5 story buildings, one on each side of the Masonic Temple. Renovation of the Masonic Temple included a seismic retrofit to the existing steel and brick structure with Taylor damper frames and infill structural slabs at each of the large two story ballrooms. The main Temple building contains 50 residential "loft" style units along with basement parking. The two new buildings are concrete structures with 4 floors of residential condos (16 units in each building) sitting on underground and 1st floor parking. Totals for the project include 82 residential condo units (189,270 sqft), 158 parking spaces (54,327 sqft) and one retail space (375 sqft). |
