The Press Building is a retrofit of a Historic Building (1912) in downtown Oakland Ca. The project underwent a complete seismic retrofit of the original theatre building with additions of infill slabs to the building to bring them up to current codes. The interior of the four stories building (65,000 sf) is finished as a rental storage facility. The exterior three stories of the building is retail on the first floor and offices above.
